Fringed by large pine trees, this magic spot is within a stone’s throw of Ponsonby and has something for everyone. The park itself is off-leash friendly for canine family members, or head for the boardwalk on your bike and cycle into the city. But if cooling off’s the order of the day, then you’ve just found yourself one of the most iconic outdoor pools in town.There’s loads of grass to spread your picnic blanket out on as you while away the day with the whanua. Spa pool, main pool, and diving pool, with a high board and super fast slides, make for thrilling fun for young and old kids alike. Handy hint: Make sure your boardies are done up tight, or the Lifeguards will point and laugh at you.
