We love this place, but then again who doesn’t around here? With its perfect balance of smart-casual dining and staff who are the definition of slick, it’s really not surprising that Prego is still a go-to dining destination after all these years.

Part of their secret is making the menu approachable, with familiar Italian fare like pizza and pasta, with a local twist using the best and freshest ingredients. Prego opens from noon until late, meaning they’re as adept at handling the youngest members of the family for lunch, as they are the late night crowds. Inside is cosy and fun, but our tip is to try and nab a table under the tree in the delightful courtyard whenever the weather allows. Trust us, you’ll be back.
