Frequenting local cafes does come as part of the territory in our line of business, but for us Crumb is a standout. For starters, owner Hugo Baird is one of the most relaxed, chatty and hard working guys we’ve ever met. His approach is to keep food simple and unpretentious (a bit like the man himself), using the best ingredients available. Ditto the coffee, which is literally and figuratively Supreme. Sitting quietly on the corner of Crummer Road and Ariki Street, Crumb gets our vote for being one of the most casually relaxed places to get your caffeine fix in the hood.
